Technology Services Forum

Guidelines | Code of Conduct

This online community was created for everybody with an interest in technology services. This includes industry practitioners, the press, technology vendors, Association members, analysts and so on. However, members of Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) (formerly AFSMI, SSPA and TPSA) will enjoy certain exclusive benefits--for example, access to members-only groups--while the overall nature of the community is geared towards IT services industry professionals.

The community is open in nature and has few restrictions. However, there are certain guidelines users must abide by to keep the community running smoothly:
  1. Be nice! No flaming. Don't be offensive (not even a little).
  2. Whether or not you're a member of TSIA, please don't share members-only content with non-members.
  3. Please don't explicitly promote your business, products or services. Recommending people, products and services is permitted as long as it is done so in relevant, contextual discussions.
  4. If you have constructive criticism for the sponsoring Association please be tactful. If you have constructive criticism AND we're likely to perceive you as one of our competitors, a direct email to us is the best choice to make.
  5. Please respect different cultural backgrounds, experience, education, technology prowess and "webiquette" of posters.
  6. Don't post confidential, sensitive or protected information from any entity.
Questions for the Associations:
While staff from TSIA does regularly monitor Technology Services Forum (TSF), we can't always answer individual questions via the discussion boards. If you have a question for the Association, please visit the TSIA website or contact TSF site administrators.

Reporting abuse / questionable behavior:
To report site abuse, please contact TSF site administrators.

Dealing with site mis-conduct:
We reserve the right to ban users, delete specific content or remove all content and profile information associated with any individual user. We'll definitely give a warning or advice to the uninitiated, but will ban any blatant abuse outright.
